Care Hospitals in East Point Colony is a bit unique because we are located in D-1 of the Nestles Colonial Apartments. The address is 6-22-2. It’s not your typical hospital building that stands on its own. Instead, we are integrated into this residential block. It makes the whole place feel much more like part of the neighborhood. People living in the apartments can just walk over. It’s a lot quieter here than our other branches in the middle of the city. We have a smaller setup, which means we get to know the patients a bit better. It’s not as intimidating as a huge medical complex. The rooms are a bit more compact, and we’ve had to be clever with how we use the space. We have a small reception area and then the treatment rooms are down the hall. It’s clean and functional, but it has a bit of that homey apartment feel to it. The breeze from the coast sometimes makes it into the hallways if we leave the windows open. The staff here likes the slower pace compared to the bigger hospitals. We still stay busy, of course, but it’s a different kind of busy. It’s more personal. We focus on the folks in East Point Colony and the surrounding streets. It’s a nice little spot to work and a quiet place for people to come when they aren't feeling well. We just try to keep things steady.
