Care Hospital

Our place is inside the As Raja Complex, right there on Waltair Main Road. The address is 10-50-11/5, which sounds more complicated than it actually is. If you know the main road, you’ve probably passed by our sign a hundred times. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The building is older, and you can tell by the way the elevators sound, but it’s sturdy. We have a lot of people coming in from the surrounding neighborhoods. The staff here mostly talks about their families or the local news when we’re on our break in the small back room. It’s a tight-knit group. We see a lot of regular faces, especially older folks who come in for their routine checks. The hallway gets a bit narrow when we’re moving equipment around, so you have to watch your step. We try to keep things simple. There’s no fancy art on the walls, just the stuff we need for work. On rainy days, the floor gets a bit slippery near the entrance, so we’re always putting out those yellow caution signs. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the schedule, and sometimes things run behind. We do our best to catch up. It’s just the daily grind of running a hospital in this part of town. We just show up, do the work, and go home to do it again tomorrow. There is always something to be done around the wards.
