Care Dental Hospital

Our place is in Sri Balaji Chambers, right at the first unit. We are located in Seethammadhara in Visakhapatnam, which is a nice enough part of the city. The building has that typical commercial feel to it. You walk in and there’s the front desk where the ledger sits. We still use a lot of paper here because it feels easier than the computer sometimes. The chairs in the lobby are made of dark wood and they’ve been there since we opened. We have a view of the street from the side window, and you can see people heading to work or the market. The dental equipment makes that high-pitched whirring sound that everyone knows. We try to keep things quiet, but it’s hard with the phone ringing and people talking in the hallway. Our staff is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering calls to mopping the floor. The Vizag salt air sometimes makes the metal hinges on the doors a bit creaky, so we have to oil them now and then. We don't have any big corporate slogans or anything like that. We just come in, put on our coats, and get to work. Most of our patients are from the 530013 zip code area and we see the same faces every few months. It’s a steady pace and we like the familiarity of the neighborhood. We keep the front window shut when the dust gets too bad.
