Biomimics

Our office is tucked away in Flat No 103 at Brahmaramba Apt. Being in MVP Colony is convenient, but Sector 4 gets pretty crowded during the day, especially being so close to Isukathota. It is not a large corporate building with a glass front. Instead, it’s an apartment we’ve converted into a workspace. We have two big tables pushed together to hold all the site drawings and maps. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow because of the old wiring, but we just deal with it as it comes. Visakhapatnam is growing fast, and being here makes it easy to visit most of the construction sites we are looking after. We spend quite a bit of our time on our feet, measuring walls or checking levels in the heat. When we are actually in the office, it’s mostly quiet except for the hum of a couple of computers and the ceiling fan. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. The neighbors in the apartment block are used to seeing us carry rolls of paper up and down the stairs. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy waiting room. We just want to get the measurements correct and finish the plans on time. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so the fans are always on full blast. It is a simple, practical way to work, and we just focus on the task at hand.
