Archana Jewellers & Novelties

We are over at the Annapurna Complex in Sivajipalem, specifically in Shop No. 4 and 10 on the ground floor. Being in MVP Colony means there is always someone walking by. We have two separate shops because one handles the jewelry and the other has more of the novelty items. It can be a bit of a walk back and forth all day, but it keeps us on our toes. The jewelry side has the usual glass cases and stools for customers to sit on. The novelty side is a bit more of a jumble with all sorts of small gift items and trinkets. It’s a family business, so you will usually see one of us behind the counter or out front talking to the neighbors. We’ve been here for quite a long time now. The complex itself is getting a bit older, and the floor tiles in our shop are a little chipped in places. We don't really have a polished way of doing things. We just talk to people and show them what we have in stock. If someone needs a ring sized or a pearl restrung, we take care of it right here. We don't use any big fancy machines, just the old-fashioned tools that we’ve had for years. It’s a comfortable place to work and we enjoy seeing the familiar faces of the colony every day.
