Aravind Eye Clinic

Located at 49-34-30 in Akkayyapalem, we’re right beside the 80 Feet Road. It’s easy to find us if you’re on the Akkayapalem Main Road in Visakhapatnam. We’ve been looking at eyes here for quite some time. People come in when their vision gets blurry or they need new glasses. The clinic is simple. We have the eye charts on the wall and the machines for testing. It’s not a huge place, so it can feel a bit tight when a whole family comes in together. We mostly see older folks with cataracts or students who can't see the blackboard. The 530016 area is where we live and work. We aren't doing anything revolutionary; we just check eyes and give prescriptions. Sometimes the wait is a bit long if the doctor is tied up with a tricky case. We don’t have a coffee machine or a big TV in the lounge. It's just a place to get your eyes checked. We keep the records in files and try to keep things moving. It’s a steady job. People in the neighborhood know us, and that’s enough. We open the doors, clean the lenses, and wait for the first patient. The 80 Feet Road is always loud, so we keep the windows shut mostly. We've got a small sign outside that sometimes gets covered by the trees. It’s just a regular local clinic.
