Apple Commodities Pvt. Ltd. down in Bandla Metla. We are located at 5-21 on Gadiyaram Vari Veedhi. The street is a bit narrow, so if two trucks come at the same time, it’s a whole situation. I usually spend half my morning just watching the traffic move from the window. We deal with commodities, mostly stuff moving in and out of the warehouse. It’s not very exciting work, but it pays the bills and keeps everyone busy. The building is older, with high ceilings that help a bit with the afternoon heat. My uncle started this years ago, and now a few of us cousins handle the daily paperwork and the loading. There is always a lot of dust because of the bags we move. Gadiyaram Vari Veedhi is a loud street, lots of people shouting and scooters honking their horns. We have a small crew, maybe six guys who have been with us since the start. They know the routine better than I do. Lunch is usually brought from home and we eat together in the back room. Sometimes customers come in asking for things we don't even carry, and we just point them down the road. It’s a regular office, nothing special to look at. We keep the ledger books on a shelf that’s slightly crooked. It feels like home after all these years. It’s not a place with shiny floors or fancy coffee machines, but we get the job done every single day. We stay busy enough and try not to let the paperwork pile up.
