Being over here in Sector 9th of MVP Colony means we’re right in the middle of everything. The address is 2-15-31/3, which sounds complicated but most locals know the spot pretty well. It’s a lively part of the colony. There’s always someone passing by on the street, and we see the same faces every day heading to work or the market. The building isn't the newest on the block, but it’s sturdy. We spend our mornings checking the equipment and making sure the floors are mopped before the first person walks through the door. It’s a routine that hasn’t changed much over the years. The light comes in through the side windows in the afternoon and hits the desk just right. Sometimes the traffic in MVP Colony gets backed up, especially near our section, so we hear a lot of honking in the late afternoon. Our desks are usually piled with charts and notes we’ve written to each other. It’s not a quiet library type of place; there’s always a conversation happening somewhere in the hall. We have a small staff who have been here a long time, so we know each other's coffee orders by heart. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay on top of things. No one wears fancy suits here, just the usual scrubs or comfortable clothes. It feels like home after a while, even with the smell of floor cleaner. There's a small shop across the way where we get our snacks.
