You can find Sri Lakshmi Motors right across from the NTR Market Yard on the main road here in Anankapalli. It’s a busy spot with all the trucks and tractors moving in and out of the market all day long. We deal with engines and parts mostly. There is usually grease on the floor and tools scattered around because we are always in the middle of a job. We’ve been at this location for a while. The noise from the market can get pretty loud, especially in the mornings, but we’re used to it. We help people with their vehicles, whether it's a small fix or something that takes a few days. We don't have a waiting room with a TV or anything like that. People usually just stand around and talk while we work. The Gatering Road gets a lot of traffic, so we see all kinds of people passing through. We have a small stock of spare parts, but the older models are getting harder to find pieces for. We do what we can. Our hands are usually dirty from the oil, so don't expect a formal greeting. We just get to work. It’s a simple business. If you’re coming from the market side, we are the ones with the old tires stacked up front. Just pull up and someone will come out to see what’s wrong with your machine. We stay open late if there's a tractor that needs to be back in the fields by morning.
