Down in Deepanjali Nagar, you’ll find Abhaya Critical Care Hospital at Q.No C-39 in Phase-1. It is part of the Simhadri area, which has its own rhythm. Being located in a specific quarter number like this means we are tucked away inside the residential layout rather than being out on a big main highway. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time if you aren't used to the numbering system here, but once you’ve been here, it’s easy enough. The building stays busy at all hours since critical care doesn't really have a closing time. You will see the lights on at three in the morning just as much as at noon. The air inside always has that slight smell of cleaning supplies, which is expected. We have a small team, and we all know each other’s habits by now. It isn't a place for fancy decor or marketing posters. We have the equipment we need and the beds are kept ready. Outside, the trees in the colony give a bit of shade, which is nice during the hotter months. We see a lot of families coming through the doors, looking a bit tired or worried. We just try to provide a space that works. It's an honest place to work, even if the stairs are a bit narrow or the paint is chipping in the corners. We aren't corporate people, just regular workers who show up for every shift.
