Our business, Vshrimps Food Exports Private Limited, is located in the Seethammadhara area of Visakhapatnam. We have a space on the first floor of H. No. 50-48-7 in the P & T Colony. Being in Visakhapatnam means we are close to the action when it comes to seafood. As our name suggests, we spend a lot of time thinking about shrimp. It’s a fast-paced business because you’re dealing with food, so things have to move quickly. The office in 530013 is where we handle all the coordination. It’s a busy little spot with people always coming in and out to check on papers or deliveries. We aren't a big, cold company; we’re just a group of people who know the seafood trade well. The 1st floor office isn't anything fancy, just a place to get the work done. We’ve got maps on the walls and plenty of lists to keep track of. Sometimes the humidity in Vizag gets to be a bit much, but we keep the fans going. It’s a lot of work making sure everything stays on schedule, but we’ve been doing this for a while now. We know the local suppliers and the port workers. It’s a community-based job, really. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and try to keep everything running smooth so the food gets where it's going.
