We’ve been working out of Vijra Apartment in Daspalla Hills for a while now. It’s a quiet spot in Visakhapatnam, right at Flat No. 12. Most days start with checking the lists and making sure the motel side of things is running okay. We aren't a big fancy hotel with hundreds of staff members, just a small team trying to keep things organized. Daspalla Hills is a nice area, usually a bit cooler than the main city, but the humidity still gets to us sometimes. The resort side takes up a lot of our planning time. We spend hours on the phone or sitting at the old wooden desk in the office dealing with bookings and maintenance stuff. The stairs in the apartment building can be a bit much when we’re in a hurry, but you get used to it. We mostly deal with people coming through Vizag who need a place that isn't right in the middle of the noise. It’s simple work, really. We spend a lot of time just making sure the paperwork is straight and the rooms are ready for whoever is coming next. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to scramble, but that’s just how it is living here. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that, just our space in the apartment where we manage Svgiri Motel and Resorts. It’s a job that keeps us busy from morning until late evening and we just take it one day at a time.
