Being in the rural part of Visakhapatnam means it’s a bit further out from the main city center, which we actually prefer because it’s a bit more relaxed. The arcade has a few different businesses in it, so there is usually a bit of a mix of people in the elevators and corridors. Our office is up on the fourth floor, so we get a decent view of the surroundings. It’s not a huge space, but it’s enough for our small team to manage the exim operations. We have a few computers, a printer that sometimes jams at the worst moments, and a lot of folders stacked up on the side. We spend most of our time here coordinating with different parties and making sure the export paperwork is all in order. It’s a pretty standard routine. We come in, check the messages from overnight, and then start making calls. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down for a minute. We don’t go in for all that corporate talk or big presentations. We just focus on the practical side of things and try to make sure everything gets where it needs to go without too much trouble.
