We operate Hemline Clothing Private Limited out of Flat 206(B) in the Srisanthi block of Signature Apartments. It’s a bit unusual having a business in a residential area like Marikavalasa, but it works for us. We’re located at Door#6-40 and have been here for a while. It’s a quiet spot compared to the big industrial areas of Visakhapatnam. The apartment is mostly where we handle the paperwork and keep our small inventory organized. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what we’re doing with all the boxes coming in and out, but we try to keep things low-key. It’s a small team here, just a handful of us sitting around a couple of tables every day. The sea breeze sometimes reaches us in the evenings, which is nice on the hotter days. We don’t have a big storefront or any neon signs out front. Most people wouldn’t even know we’re here unless they were looking for the specific flat number. We’ve set up some racks and a desk in the main room for our tasks. It’s a bit cramped when a big shipment arrives, but we manage to stay organized enough. We like the convenience of being in this part of town and the short commute. It feels more like a home than an office, which suits the way we like to work. Just a simple setup for a clothing business, nothing more and nothing less.
