Whitecross Foundation For Blind is set up at No. 6 in the Industrial Estate of Virudhunagar. Being in an industrial area means it can get a bit loud with trucks and machinery nearby, but we have made a good home here. Virudhunagar-626003 is where we do all our daily work. We focus on helping blind individuals in any way we can. It is a practical operation we run. We don't have any fancy carpets or expensive furniture. We just have what we need to get the job done. Our team is small, mostly people from around this part of Tamil Nadu. We spend a lot of time coordinating things and making sure our programs are running okay. Sometimes we run out of space for all the equipment we need, so things get a little cramped. But we manage. The people who come to us know they can expect a straight answer and a bit of help. We have been at this for a while now. It is hard work sometimes, and we don't always get everything right on the first try. But we keep trying anyway. The industrial estate is a busy place, but we find our quiet moments to focus. We are just glad to have a roof over our heads and a place to help people from.
