We are out in Kanjamanaickenpatti Village at house number 50/4. It is a bit far out, near the Mustakurichi Post in Kariapatti Taluk. This is in the Virudhunagar district. The pin code is 626106. Being in a village means things are a lot quieter here than they would be in a city. Our office for the Sundaram Aarogyam & Vitality Endowment Foundation is just a small building that fits right in with the neighborhood. We have some goats and cows that wander past the door sometimes. It is a very practical and down-to-earth place to work. We don't have any shiny glass walls or air-conditioned lobbies. We just use fans and keep the doors open when it's hot. The people around here are mostly farmers or small shop owners. We see them every day when we come into work. It takes a while to drive here from the main town, but we don't mind the commute. It gives us time to think. We handle all the foundation business from this one spot. There are files stacked up and some old wooden desks we have been using for years. It is a bit dusty because of the dirt roads, but we don't really care about that. We are just here to do the work. It is an honest living in a quiet part of Tamil Nadu.
