Sri Prakash Construction

We are located on Annamalai Chettiar Street, right near the Telephone Road in Aruppukottai. It’s a busy little spot, and we’ve been here at Sri Prakash Construction for many years. People in town know us as the guys who are always busy with some project or another. Our office is a simple place with a few desks and a lot of blueprints rolled up in the corners. We do a lot of walking back and forth to different sites around town. The air here in Aruppukottai is often dry, and we get quite a bit of sun. We usually have the fans running full blast in the office while we talk to contractors or look over the material costs. Prices for cement and sand keep changing, which is always a headache for us. We try to keep our overhead low so we can just focus on the building part. Our team is small, mostly locals who have lived here their whole lives. We know the soil here and how the rain affects the foundations. It’s not fancy work, and we don't use big words to describe it. We just build things that stay up. Sometimes we have a disagreement about how to solve a problem on-site, but we usually figure it out over a quick snack or a glass of water. It’s a decent way to make a living and we take pride in seeing our buildings around the neighborhood every day when we walk home.
