Mari Paper Tube Works

Mari Paper Tube Works is located at No. 1880 on the Old Sivakasi Road. We are in the Muthuramalingam Nagar area. It’s a bit of an industrial neighborhood, which makes sense for what we do. The sound of the machines is pretty constant throughout the day. You get used to the rhythm of it after a while. The building is basically a big shed with a small office tucked into the corner. There is always a smell of glue and paper in the air. It’s not a bad smell, just what we are used to. We have stacks of paper tubes everywhere, some tall and some short. It’s hard to keep the place tidy because as soon as we clean up, more materials come in. Old Sivakasi Road can get quite dusty when the wind blows. We have been at this spot for a long time. Most of the people working here have been around for years too. We don't have a website or a big marketing department. We just make the tubes and send them out. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. The neighbors are mostly other small workshops, so we all know each other. Sometimes we sit outside for a tea break when it’s not too hot. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just run the machines and get the orders filled.
