Kuttys Choice

Our place, Kuttys Choice, is located at No. 825 Madurai Road. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you are driving along that way. We have been here for a bit, selling a bit of everything to the folks who live nearby. It’s the kind of shop where you might find something for the kitchen or maybe some toys for the kids. We don't really specialize in just one thing, which keeps the day interesting. The shelves are usually packed pretty tight. Sometimes we have to move three things just to get to the one at the back, but that’s just how we manage the space. Madurai Road is always busy, so there is a lot of noise from the trucks and cars outside. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown some of that out. We don't have a big staff, just us and sometimes a family member helping out when it gets crowded on the weekends. We enjoy talking to the people who stop in. Most of them are regulars who live just a few streets away. We don't do any big promotions or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until late in the evening. It’s a simple life running a shop on a main road like this. We just try to keep the popular items in stock and make sure the place is tidy enough for people to walk through without tripping over something.
