Our place is on Devasthana Hodown Street in Sivagami Puram. It is number 14. If you walk down that street, you’ll see us right there. It’s a busy little pocket of the area. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly stuff coming in and out of the godowns. The street is narrow, so when a delivery truck comes, everything else kind of has to wait. It’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve been working out of this spot for years. The building is old and it has that specific smell of dust and paper. We don’t have air conditioning, so we usually have the fans going full blast during the summer months. It gets pretty hot. Most of our neighbors are also doing similar work, so we all know each other. We might grab a coffee together or just nod when we see each other in the morning. We aren't a big corporation with fancy titles. We are just a small group of people trying to keep the business going and making sure the orders are handled right. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, but we sort it out eventually. Sivagami Puram is a good place to be, even if it gets a bit chaotic with the traffic on the godown street. We just take it one day at a time and keep our heads down.
