J L Traders is situated over in L C P Vaiyapuri Nagar. We are on Nandhavanam Theru, which is a street that gets a fair amount of foot traffic during the day. It’s a typical neighborhood street, and we are right in the middle of it. We do a lot of general trading here. That means we deal with a variety of products depending on what the market is doing. Our space is functional, with plenty of room for loading and unloading the goods we get. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for a while. Every morning we roll up the shutters and start checking what came in the previous evening. It can be a bit dusty on the street, especially when the wind picks up, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the shelves. We have a routine that works for us, and we don't feel the need to change it much. Most of our customers are locals or small businesses from nearby streets. They know us and we know them, which makes the day go by easier. We handle the paperwork ourselves in the small office area at the back. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just steady work and keeping the customers happy with what they get. We are just a local trading outfit trying to do things right on our little stretch of the road without any fuss.
