Ganesan & Co

We are located at number 58 in RR Nagar, over in Sivagami Puram. If you know where Sethu Book Shop is on 4th Main Road, then we are just a short walk from there. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which we like. It’s a small operation here at Ganesan & Co. We mostly handle trading and supplies. My father started things off a long time ago and now we just keep it going. The shelves are usually packed with stock, and sometimes it’s hard to find a spare chair for visitors. We don't have a website that works all that well, so we mostly talk to people face-to-face or over the phone. It feels more personal that way. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide what people need at a fair price. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back window, so we have to move the boxes around. We drink a lot of tea while we go over the ledger. It’s a simple routine. We know the guys at the book shop and the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a good community to be a part of. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth. We’re just regular people working a regular job. It’s been that way for years and we don't see any reason to change it now. We just take it as it comes.
