Field Engineer

Down here on Mallappan South Street, life moves at its own pace. We are located at number 4, right in the Raj Bhavan area of Aruppukottai. It is easy to find if you know where the main landmarks are, but for anyone else, it’s just a standard street with a lot of history. Field Engineer is what we call ourselves, and we have been based here for some time. We aren’t a giant corporation with thousands of employees. It’s just us in this building, working through the daily grind. The heat in Aruppukottai can be something else, but we keep the fans going and get on with things. Usually, someone is always around to answer the phone or handle the mail. We try to keep things organized, even if the desk gets a bit messy when we’re in the middle of a big project. People walk by the office all day, and sometimes they stop in just to say hello. It feels like a proper community here on South Street. We don't spend much time on fancy stuff. We just focus on the work that needs finishing. Our address at 626101 is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s a plain office, nothing too special to look at from the outside, but it works for us. We've got our routine down and we stick to it every day.
