Dbs Engineering Services

Over at 47/26 Burmah Colony, that’s where Dbs Engineering Services is set up. It is a simple setup, really. We have a couple of rooms filled with tools, some computers, and a lot of drawings spread out on big tables. The colony is usually quiet, which helps when we need to focus on a tricky problem. We’ve been working out of this space for a good while. It’s not a high-rise office with glass walls. It is a practical place where we can actually get our hands dirty when we need to. There’s usually a pot of coffee going in the corner. We spend our hours looking at specs and trying to figure out the best way to put things together. Sometimes we are out on a site, but a lot of the work happens right here at the desk. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Just regular clothes that can handle a bit of grease or dust. The shelves are full of old binders and reference books that have been used a thousand times. It’s a small operation. We know each other well and we know our way around the neighborhood. If you walk into Burmah Colony looking for us, you’ll find a plain door and the sound of someone probably arguing over a measurement or a design flaw. It’s just how we work. No frills, just engineering.
