Arasan Match Industries (the) is sitting at Plot No.92/2 on Gandhi Road. It’s a familiar spot for anyone who lives around here. We’ve been on this road for ages, and the building itself has a lot of history in the walls. You can tell it’s an older place just by the way the windows are set and the way the floors have worn down over the years. We don’t really care much for modernizing things just for the sake of it. If it works, we keep using it. That’s how we’ve always done things at Plot 92/2. The sound of the machines is the background music to our lives. Gandhi Road is usually humming with people and scooters, and we are right in the middle of that daily buzz. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone telling us how to speak to people. We just talk like we always have. If someone walks in, they’ll see a bunch of us busy with the matches and the boxes. It’s dusty and it’s loud, and by the end of the shift, we’re all pretty tired. But it’s a good kind of tired. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest company out there. We just want to make sure the work we do today is as good as what we did yesterday. It's just a regular business on a regular street, and we think that is enough for anyone.
