We’ve been here on Pilliyar Kovil Street in Sattur for a while now. Most people around Virudhunagar know where Door No 37 is. It’s just a small office where we handle the chit fund stuff. It isn’t anything fancy, just a few desks and chairs where we sit down with folks from the neighborhood. We started Ananthaumayal Chitfunds because we saw how hard it was for local families to save up for big things like weddings or fixing a roof. You see the same faces every month. Sometimes it gets busy, especially on the days when the draw happens, and the office fills up with chatter. It’s mostly just us keeping track of the books and making sure everything is counted right. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just local people working with local people. Sometimes we make mistakes with the tea order, but the numbers are always solid. Living and working in Sattur means you can't really hide if you do a bad job, so we just try to be fair. It’s a quiet street usually, but we like it that way. If you walk past the temple, you’ll see our sign. We are usually here from morning until the evening, unless something comes up. It’s just a normal business trying to help neighbors keep their money moving in the right direction without too much fuss. No big corporate talk here, just simple talk over a desk.
