Roots International School

We are over at No 64 on Beach Road in Cuddalore. It’s a good location because you can feel the air coming off the sea, which helps when it’s humid. The school building is right there on the main road, so it’s easy for everyone to find. We have a mix of students from different parts of Cuddalore. The classrooms are fairly standard, with big windows to let in the light. Sometimes, you can hear the waves if the traffic on Beach Road dies down, but usually, it’s just the sound of cars and bikes. We have a small playground where the kids play football or run around during their break time. The ground is a bit uneven, but nobody seems to care. Inside, the hallways are usually decorated with student projects and some old posters. Our staff room is always a bit messy with books and tea cups. We don’t go in for fancy gadgets or anything like that. It’s more about the teachers sitting down with the students and going through the lessons. In the afternoons, when the sun is setting, the whole place gets a nice glow. We’ve been part of this community for a while now, and most people around here know who we are. It’s just a regular school where we try to do right by the kids every day without making a big fuss about it.
