Maheswari Driving School

We are located at No 14 in the A L C Complex here in Cuddalore. Maheswari Driving School has been helping people get behind the wheel for a long time. Driving in Tamil Nadu can be a bit chaotic, so we try to teach people how to stay calm and follow the rules. Our office in the complex is small. It’s where we do the paperwork and talk about the road signs before we actually head out in the car. We have a few cars that we use for lessons. They aren't brand new, but we keep them in good working order. Each student is different. Some are very nervous and others are a bit too confident. We have to adjust how we talk to them. It’s a lot of sitting in traffic and practicing three-point turns. We don't have any big flashy signs or a lot of staff. It’s just us instructors trying to make sure people can drive safely without causing an accident. Sometimes the weather is hot and the AC in the car struggles, but we keep going. We've helped young kids and older people who never thought they’d learn. It’s a basic service we provide to the community. We just want people to be sensible on the road and pass their test properly. It takes a lot of patience to do this job, but seeing someone get their license makes it all okay in the end and keeps us coming back.
