Krishna Hospital

No: 6 A Hospital Road is where we are, and the street name pretty much says it all. There are a few medical places on this road, but Krishna Hospital has its own little corner. The gate is a bit narrow, so the drivers have to be careful when they pull in. We have a small garden area in the front, though it’s mostly just a few hardy bushes and some grass that needs cutting. The building itself is an older style with high ceilings and thick walls that keep the heat out. We like the way it feels, even if it’s not modern. The hallways are long and have that specific smell of cleaning supplies and medicine. Our staff has been here for years, some of them since the day we opened. They know where every single light switch and spare key is hidden. It’s a comfortable routine for us. We get people from all over the city because we’re tucked away in a spot that’s easy to reach. The chairs in the waiting room are plastic and mismatched, but they serve the purpose. On rainy days, the roof over the porch makes a lot of noise, which is actually kind of nice to listen to while you’re working. We don't have any big corporate plans; we just stay here on Hospital Road and take care of whoever shows up. It is just a regular part of the day for us.
