We are located at No:184 on Aladi Road, which is in the Cuddalore District. Clayman Refractories Pvt Ltd has been operating from this spot for a good while. It is a bit of a dusty environment because of the materials we use, but nobody here minds that much. We deal with bricks and linings that have to stand up to fire, so things can get pretty warm in the workspace. Our team is small, and most of us live just a short walk or bike ride away. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or a big marketing department. Usually, when people need something, they just know to come down Aladi Road and look for our gate. The yard is usually full of pallets and stacks of finished goods waiting for a truck. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the batches to make sure they are right. It’s honest work, and it keeps the lights on. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit tricky, but we manage to keep things moving. We drink a lot of tea during the breaks and talk about whatever is going on in town. There isn't a lot of drama here, just the sound of machinery and the smell of the kiln. We take pride in just doing the job we’re supposed to do without any extra fluff. It’s a plain place for a plain purpose, and that’s fine.
