Zeenat Engineering Works

You can find us at Gala Number 1 inside the Iqbal Compound. We are right on Narangi Road, not too far from the Ganesh Mandir in Virar East. Zeenat Engineering Works is basically a small machine shop. We have a few lathes and some welding gear set up in the unit. It’s usually oily on the floor, and there are metal scraps in the corners. We do a lot of repair work for people in the area. Someone brings in a broken part, and we try to fix it or make a new one. It's not a big corporate operation by any means. It’s just us working under the fluorescent lights. The traffic on Narangi Road can be a headache, but being near the temple makes it easy to give directions. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just drop in. Some days it’s quiet and we’re just cleaning the tools, and other days it’s non-stop. We try to be fair with what we charge. Most of the guys here live right in Virar, so we know the community. It gets humid in the gala during the monsoon, but we keep the shutters open for a breeze. We do basic engineering stuff, nothing too complicated. If it needs a weld or a new thread, we can probably handle it. It's just a honest living in a small corner of the compound. We don't have much to brag about, just hard work.
