Viva College

Viva College is situated right on Viva College Road in Virar. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets around here. We have a lot of students coming in from all over Maharashtra, mostly taking the local trains. It’s a big building and there is always something going on in the hallways. We don’t really go in for fancy talk. It’s just a place where people come to get their degrees and move on with their lives. The mornings are a bit of a rush with everyone trying to get to class on time. Our staff is mostly busy with the usual office work, filing papers and checking IDs at the gate. The road outside can be quite noisy with all the traffic, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of lectures and students chatting. We have different floors for different subjects. It’s a lot to manage. Sometimes the lifts are slow, so most people just take the stairs. During the monsoon, the whole area gets quite wet and we have to put out mats so people don't slip on the tiles. We’ve been part of the Virar community for a long time. It’s a practical place. We don't have fancy gardens or anything, just the classrooms and the labs. It’s about getting the work done and helping the kids pass their exams. Most people around here just call it Viva. It’s a landmark in this part of town and we keep it running every day.
