Sri Ram Traders

We are based out of Gala No. 15 in the Rast Prabha Udhyog Nagar area. This is part of Golani Naka in Vasai Road West, which is a pretty active industrial pocket. Our space is basically a large warehouse where we keep our trading stock. It is not a very pretty building, just a standard concrete unit among many others. We spend most of our time loading and unloading crates. The road outside can get quite muddy when it rains, making it a bit of a challenge for the trucks. Inside, the ceiling is high and we have shelves stacked with all sorts of items. We handle the paperwork on a small wooden desk near the front shutter. The fan overhead hums all day to keep the air moving. We don't really do any marketing; people just find us through word of mouth or by seeing our sign at the Naka. It’s a lot of physical work, moving boxes and checking lists. We have a few regular drivers who come in to pick up goods for delivery. Sometimes the electricity goes out, and we just have to wait it out or work by the light from the door. It’s a simple operation at Sri Ram Traders, nothing too complicated. We just focus on keeping the inventory right and making sure the orders are ready on time. It takes a lot of energy but it keeps the business going.
