We handle various supplies and small-scale distribution from here. The office is just a simple room with a couple of chairs and some filing cabinets. We aren't trying to be a big corporation. It’s just a few of us making sure orders get processed and sent out to the local shops. The area has grown a lot since we first started out. We used to be one of the only buildings on this stretch of Vasant Vali Road. Now, there are houses and other small businesses all around us. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking the stock in the small warehouse out back. It’s a steady pace of work. We don’t have any fancy signs out front, just the name on the gate. People usually find us by word of mouth. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, which slows things down, but we just wait it out or work on the physical inventory. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living. We like the neighborhood and the people we deal with every day. It’s just our little corner of Khardpara where we do our business. Nothing too special happens, we just keep working and getting things done as they come.
