Neelima Traders

Down in Village Karunkulam, life moves a bit slower than it does over in Goregao West, but we still stay plenty busy at Neelima Traders. We are located right in the village area, so you have to drive past the main fields and the old well to get to us. It is a simple setup we have here. We deal with various goods that the local people and farmers need for their daily lives. My uncle started this place years ago when there wasn't much else around for miles. Now, we have a small warehouse space that smells like grain, dust, and old wood. It is not a modern building by any means. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard in July, but we have some heavy plastic sheets for that. We spend our days talking to the drivers and checking the weights on the manual scale. It is honest work and it keeps our family fed. Sometimes we sit outside on the wooden benches when the sun isn't too hot and watch the tractors go by on the dirt road. We don't have a website or anything like that because everyone around here just knows where we are. If you need something, you just show up and ask for it. We don't have a big staff, just me and a couple of boys from the village who help with the heavy lifting and stacking. It’s a plain business for plain people and we like it that way.
