We started Make And Wear India Llp on the 1st floor of Global Plaza Avenue, over in F-3 Global City, Virar West. It’s a growing area and there’s always something new being built around us. Our space is where we handle clothing and apparel stuff. It’s a lot of fabric, threads, and sewing machines hum in the background most of the day. We aren't a huge factory, just a local setup where we put clothes together. Some days are spent looking at patterns and other days we are just packing boxes to be sent out. It gets a bit messy with scraps of cloth on the floor, but that’s how you know we are working. We wanted to have a place where we could just make good clothes without a lot of corporate talk. People in Virar know us as a small business that just gets on with it. We don't have a big marketing team, just our hands and some machines. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish an order, but we don't mind much. It’s about getting the job done right so the person wearing the clothes is happy. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us connected to the community here in Global City. We usually have a bit of music playing to keep the energy up while we sew. It’s just a regular workshop doing our best every day.
