Gajinder Pal Singh & Sons

Our shop is Shop No-6 in the Asmita Regency-2 building on Mira Road. We are right near Asmita Clothes, so it’s a pretty easy place to find if you’re in the neighborhood. Gajinder Pal Singh & Sons has been a family thing for a long time. My father started it, and now we’re all involved. The shop is quite small, honestly. It’s packed with inventory from floor to ceiling. We have to move three things just to get to one. It’s a bit of a maze in here. We spend our days talking to customers and sorting through stock. Mira Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of traffic and noise outside. We like it though. It feels like we’re in the middle of everything. We don't have a corporate office or a board of directors. It’s just us. Sometimes my kids come by after school and sit in the back. We treat our customers like neighbors because they usually are. We aren't trying to sell anyone something they don't need. If we don't have it, we’ll tell you where you might find it. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the lights flicker sometimes, but it’s our place. We’ve been here through the good times and the slow times. It’s just a regular local business trying to do right by the people around us. Most of our day is spent balancing the books and checking orders.
