Alico

Alico is located at 693 in the Kothapeta area of Vinukonda. We are tucked away on Jakkavari Street, which is a place with its own pace of life. The shop is a straightforward setup without any of the bells and whistles you see in the big city stores. We’ve got the address painted on the side, and the doors stay open to let whatever breeze there is come inside. Vinukonda can get pretty warm, so we mostly stay in the shade of the shop during the peak hours of the day. Jakkavari Street is where we see most of our regulars, people who have lived in Kothapeta for their whole lives. We keep a range of stuff on the shelves, mostly things that people need for their homes or small projects. The inventory changes depending on what we can get and what people are asking for at the time. Sometimes the street gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, so there is always a bit of cleaning to be done on the counters and the display racks. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or anything; we just open the doors and wait for the day to start. It’s a simple operation, really. Usually, you’ll find one of us sitting near the front, ready to help whoever walks in. It’s been our spot for a while, and we’ve become a small part of the daily routine for the folks living nearby.
