Sri Balaji Foods

Sri Balaji Foods is located at Number 16 on the Thiruvanthipuram Main Road in Koothapakkam. It’s a good spot because the main road brings a lot of people past our door. We are mostly focused on the food business, which means we spend a lot of time in the back area. The kitchen and storage take up most of the space. It’s a practical building, nothing fancy to look at from the outside. We’ve been part of the Koothapakkam community for a while now. The staff consists of local people who know the area well. We start our day before the main traffic starts on the road. There’s always something to be cleaned or prepped. We don’t have a big corporate office; it’s just a small desk where we keep the books. Sometimes it feels like we are always running out of space, so we have to stay organized. The weather gets pretty hot here, so we have a few fans going all day. It’s a noisy environment with the traffic and the work going on. We don't really bother with big signs or promotions. We just do what we do every day. People know where we are and what we offer. It’s a steady pace of work. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks. The back gate sticks a bit when it rains, so we have to give it a good kick to open it. That's just part of being in this building.
