Ramanathan Hospital

If you walk down 9o. Kamaraj road, you will find Ramanathan Hospital. It is not a massive building, but it takes up enough space on the corner. The mornings are usually the busiest part of our day. We see people coming in before they go to work, and the lobby fills up fast. I spend a lot of my time answering the phone or looking for folders that got put in the wrong pile. Kamaraj road is always busy, so there is always a bit of background noise coming through the front doors. We have a few benches outside where people sit when it gets too crowded inside. The floors get mopped a few times a day because of all the muddy shoes walking in. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes it gets a bit messy when we have a lot of patients at once. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know each other’s habits. We drink our coffee in the small back room when there is a break. It is not a shiny place like those big private centers, but it works for the folks around here. We deal with the usual stuff like fevers and minor injuries. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but everyone knows where we are. It is just a plain hospital doing the work every day.
