Vorian Industries And Chemicals has been tucked away at 12, Kandaswamy Layout for a good while now. We are right on First Street, which is usually busy with people moving around and cars trying to find a spot. Most days, it’s just the usual routine of checking what’s come in and what needs to go out to our customers. The office isn’t anything fancy, just a practical space where we can get the paperwork done and handle the industrial side of things. We deal with various chemicals, mostly for local industrial use, and it keeps us on our toes. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we spend most of our time looking at spreadsheets or talking on the phone anyway. Around lunchtime, the whole street smells like whatever the local stalls are cooking, and that is usually when we take a break. It's a tight-knit spot and everyone knows everyone else in this part of the layout. We do not have a big corporate lobby or a bunch of receptionists. Usually, if you come by, you’ll just see one of us at a desk or moving some boxes around in the back. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, especially during the summer months, but we have a few old fans that do the job. We have been at this for years, and while things change around the neighborhood, our little spot on First Street stays pretty much the same.
