Laxi Pet

Laxi Pet is found over at No. 24 in Thirumalai Nagar, right on the Poothurai Main Road. This is in Poothurai Village, which is part of the Vanur Taluk. It’s a bit quieter out here compared to the big cities, which suits us just fine. We deal with pet supplies and things that people in the village and the surrounding areas need for their animals. Our shop is a simple building right on the main road, so it’s easy to spot if you’re driving through. We have bags of bird seed and dog food stacked up, and sometimes it gets a bit dusty from the road outside. There is a lot of green around us, and you can often hear the local animals while we’re working. We don't have any fancy marketing displays. Instead, we just put the items where people can see them and help them find what they’re looking for. The pace of life in Vanur Taluk is a bit slower, so we have time to talk to everyone who comes in. Usually, the conversation is about how the crops are doing or how a particular goat or dog is growing. We aren't a big chain store with uniforms. We are just local people who know about animals and want to make sure the folks around here can get what they need without traveling too far. It’s a basic, honest way to spend the day.
