S.V.Precision Toolings

Out here at C-25 on Sanjeevi Nagar Main Road in Alankuppam, we run S.V.Precision Toolings. It is a quiet enough area most days, which is good for the kind of work we do. We deal with precision tools, so things have to be handled a bit more carefully than your average hardware. We have a small team and most of us have been working with these machines for years. The shop is not much to look at from the outside, just a standard building on the main road, but inside we keep it pretty orderly. We do a lot of small-batch work and specialized stuff that people cannot find at the bigger stores. Sometimes the machines are loud and the shop gets a little warm, but that is just part of the job. We do not spend money on fancy websites or brochures. Most people find us because someone else told them we could help with a specific tool or part. We are usually here early in the morning and stay until the day's work is finished. It is not a glamorous life, but we take care of the equipment and try to be fair with everyone who comes through. Alankuppam is a good place to be, and being right on the main road makes it easy for deliveries to get in and out. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way each morning.
