We go by Steel Manufacturing And Power Generation. Our office is located at 57 Durgai Amman Koil Street in Chengam. That is in the T.V. Malai district. Being on a street named after the temple means there is always something going on outside. You hear the bells and the people walking by all day. Chengam is a smaller place, so everyone kind of knows where everything is. We handle both steel and power stuff, which keeps us pretty busy. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular shopfront on a busy street. We have a few rooms where we keep the records and the equipment. It can get dusty and loud, but that is the nature of the work. We are local people and we talk to our neighbors every day. There is no corporate vibe here at all. We just open the doors in the morning and start working on whatever orders came in. Sometimes the power goes out, which is ironic given our name, but we just wait for it to come back and keep going. It is a simple life in a small town. We don't have any big goals of taking over the world; we just want to do right by the people who buy from us. Our address 606701 is where we spend most of our lives. It gets hot in the afternoons but we have a good group here. We just take it one day at a time.
