You can find us at 914A on Mariamman Koil Street, right on the Pondy Main Road. The best way to find the shop is to look for the Ambedkar Statue because we are right opposite that. It is a good landmark for people who aren't from around Thiruchitrambalam. The road gets quite busy during the day with people heading into Pondicherry or coming out towards the villages. We spend our time here dealing with cars and bookings. It is a small place, nothing too special to look at from the outside, but we keep it tidy enough for visitors. The temple is close by so we hear the bells and the music sometimes. It is a nice area to be in. We have a few drivers we talk to all the time and customers who have been coming to us for years. We don't do any big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here across from the statue. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon so we usually pull the screen down a bit to keep it cool. We have got a small table and some chairs for people to rest. It gets a bit hot in the summer but the breeze from the road helps a little. We just take it day by day, helping people get where they need to go without making a big fuss about things. It is a simple life running a travel desk in this part of town.
