You can find us at number 75 in Abdul Kalam Nagar on Gangai Street. Sarvaviyabi Saibaba Construction (OPC) Private Limited is a small operation here in Villupuram. It’s mostly just us working on local building projects and trying to keep everything on schedule. The office is on Virattikuppam Road and it’s a pretty busy area. We have a lot of stuff piled up in the corners, mostly samples and old tools. Every day is different, some days we’re out in the mud and other days we’re sitting at the desk dealing with the government forms. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just do the work and hope people like it enough to tell their neighbors. Construction is a tough business because you never know what the weather will do or if the prices of steel will jump up overnight. We try to stay ahead of it by talking to our suppliers every week. It’s a lot of manual labor and coordination. We spend a lot of time on the phone and even more time on the actual sites. It’s just how we make a living. There’s no secret to it, just showing up and doing what needs to be done. We’ve been at this for a while now and we know the streets of Villupuram like the back of our hands. It's a lot of walking and talking but we enjoy the process of building something new.
