Recon Energy Consulting Services operates out of 1/79, North Street in Thagadi. It is a small place in the Tirukoilur area of Villupuram district. Being in a village location like Thagadi means things move at a slightly different pace than they do in the big cities. Our office is a simple setup where we handle all the consulting work for energy projects. There is a lot of reading through regulations and checking technical specs involved in what we do. The North Street area is mostly quiet, which helps when you need to concentrate on a complicated report. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just the address and the work we do. Most of our clients are from the surrounding areas or come to us through word of mouth. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break and sit outside for a bit. The desks are covered in maps and site plans that have been marked up with red pens. It’s an honest way to make a living, helping people figure out their energy needs without overcomplicating things. The commute to Tirukoilur isn't too bad if you know the back roads. We have a small cupboard for our tea supplies and a stack of old reports that we keep for reference. It’s just us doing the work we can with the tools and information we have on hand every day.
