Magicalwindow Bistro Private Limited

We are over here on Auroville Main Road in Kuilapalayam. It’s a busy spot especially with all the people coming through to see the sights in Pondicherry. Magicalwindow Bistro is just us trying to run a decent place where folks can stop by. We’ve been at No. 82 for a while now. Some days are packed and some days are quiet enough that you can actually hear the trees. Running a private limited company wasn't really the plan at first but here we are. The kitchen usually gets going early because there is always something to prep or clean. Most of the staff live nearby so we see the same faces every morning. It’s not a fancy corporate setup by any means. We deal with the power cuts and the heat just like everyone else on this road. Sometimes the rain makes it hard for customers to get inside but that is just how it is in this part of the world. We don't have some big philosophy about food or anything. We just cook what we know and hope people like it. It’s a lot of work keeping things running in Auroville but it’s home for us now. The address is easy to find if you are heading towards the main center. We just try to keep the windows clean and the doors open for whoever walks in from the street.
