Jap Pizzeria Private Limited

We are located at No. 116 on the Auroville Main Road. It’s a lively spot in Bharathi Nagar. Jap Pizzeria isn't a chain or anything big like that. It’s just a pizza shop we opened because we like the area of Periyamudaliyar Chavadi. The oven is the heart of the place. It stays hot all day. Sometimes we have trouble with the wood supply, but we manage to find what we need nearby. We spend a lot of time kneading dough. Our hands are usually covered in flour by noon. We don't have fancy decorations. There are some wooden chairs and tables that we moved in ourselves. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We're too busy with the orders. It’s a local place. Most of the people who come in live just down the road. We know their names and what they usually get. It’s not just about the food, it’s about having a place to go. We stay open late most nights. The street lights outside flicker a bit, but it adds to the mood. We do the cleaning ourselves after we close up. It’s tiring, but satisfying to see the kitchen clean for the next morning. We aren't trying to be the best or the biggest. We just want to make a decent pizza and pay the bills.
