We are out here in Kallakurichi, specifically in the Anna Nagar area on Thanthai Periyar Street. It is a different pace of life compared to the big cities. The office is at 22A/5, and it’s a pretty simple setup. Being in the Villupuram district, we deal with a lot of local housing stuff. The street outside is usually quiet in the mornings but gets a bit more active when the schools let out. Our office is just a few rooms where we keep all the construction logs and payroll records. It gets dusty because of the wind and the open windows, so we are always wiping down the desks. We don’t have any big signs or neon lights. It’s just a place where we sit and figure out the logistics for the local sites. Sometimes the local farmers come by to talk about land, or we have to wait for a delivery truck that got delayed on the highway. We drink a lot of tea here, mostly from the shop around the corner. The walls are filled with old calendars and a few charts showing project timelines. It’s a practical environment. We don’t spend much on decor because we are usually out at the sites anyway. It’s a basic office for people who just want to get their work finished and get home to their families without much hassle at the end of the day.
